The Whole Pet Vet Hospital & Wellness Center in Los Gatos, CA is seeking a dedicated Veterinarian who is passionate about integrative, compassionate care for companion animals. As a core member of our veterinary health team, you will provide comprehensive medical services for dogs and cats, blending high-quality conventional medicine with holistic approaches such as acupuncture, nutritional counseling, and individualized wellness planning. In this role, you will perform thorough physical examinations, diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions, and develop tailored treatment plans that reflect our whole-pet philosophy. You will oversee preventive care, including vaccinations, parasite control, and wellness visits, and may perform routine procedures and minor surgeries as appropriate to your experience. You will interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging, coordinate care with our technicians and support staff, and ensure each patient visit is as low-stress and comfortable as possible. Equally important is your ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners. You will guide clients through treatment options, explain both conventional and holistic recommendations, and provide ongoing education about nutrition, behavior, and preventive health. You will be expected to maintain meticulous electronic medical records and contribute to a warm, supportive clinic environment that values collaboration, respect, and continuous learning. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in small animal medicine and a genuine interest in integrative veterinary care. Prior training or experience in acupuncture, holistic modalities, or nutrition-focused practice is highly valued, and you should be comfortable working in a practice that emphasizes whole-pet wellness and long-term client relationships.
