Benefits:
Flexible schedule
Minnesota Center for Psychology is a group private practice clinic in St. Paul that offers mental health services to children, adolescents and adults. Established by clinicians in 2009, we are committed to providing the best quality care for our clients in an environment that embraces integrity, respect, hope, health, healing, wellness, and learning. MCP offers the flexibility and independence to create or continue your own practice while being part of a professional community and receiving administrative support. MCP’s goal is to help people create and live the life they want. We believe this starts with helping clinicians create the practices they want and that clients benefit when their mental health provider experiences professional fulfillment.
MCP currently has part-time (minimum of 15 client contact hours per week) and full-time openings for licensed clinicians:
Licensed Psychologist (Ph.D. LP, Psy.D. LP, MA LP)
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
In-office and hybrid options are available. Positions are for licensed Independent Contractors (1099). Must be licensed in the state of MN or member of PSYPACT.
Many clinicians at MCP focus on evidence-based treatments. However, clinicians with all theoretical orientations are encouraged to apply. Choose what services you offer (i.e., individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, supervision, psychological testing). Focus on specialty services (i.e., EXRP, Prolonged Exposure, EMDR, DBT, assessments), general mental health services, or a combination of services. MCP clinicians can join MCP’s Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) team, which is certified by MN DHS (open to both seasoned DBT clinicians and clinicians who want to learn DBT).
Choose your work hours (days, evenings and weekends available) and whether you want to work part-time or full-time. Enjoy the flexibility of working only at MCP or combining it with another job such as teaching or another clinical position. If you choose to work in the office, benefit from the convenient location in the heart of the Twin Cities, private offices in a beautiful historic building, free parking for you and your clients, and access to the light rail and bus lines in front of the building. Receive support services so that you can focus on your clinical practice:

Guidance with credentialing
Electronic medical record system
HIPAA-compliant Zoom platform for telehealth services
Reception staff to schedule clients and check in-person clients in during regular business hours
Ability to participate in consultation groups with other clinicians

If you share our mission and want to work in a group private practice community dedicated to helping people create and live the lives they want, we encourage you to apply.
