Qualifications & Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, leadership experience, and a collaborative mindset, including:

• Minimum of 16 years of experience in the design and delivery of transportation projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required; Master’s or other advanced degree preferred
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas
• Strong working knowledge of TXDOT policies and procedures preferred
• Proven track record of building, leading, and growing engineering teams, along with developing strong internal and external relationships
• Demonstrated ability to mentor staff at all levels and effectively allocate and manage resources
• Comprehensive experience in engineering project management, including scope development, cost estimating, and scheduling
• Commitment to delivering high-quality work on time, with experience overseeing project execution and deliverables
