Job Description
The Pipe Installer installs, assembles, and secures piping systems and related components in industrial and construction environments. This role reads and interprets blueprints and technical drawings, prepares and uses a variety of tools and materials, and ensures that all piping systems operate safely and efficiently. The position also involves testing, troubleshooting, and repairing existing systems while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to strict safety standards.

Work Environment
This role operates primarily in industrial and construction environments, both indoors and outdoors, depending on project needs. You will work around active equipment and machinery and regularly use hand tools, power tools, and specialized pipe installation equipment such as threaders, cutters, welders, and torches. The position may require working at heights, in tight or confined spaces, and in varying temperatures and weather conditions. Work hours typically follow standard construction schedules, with potential for overtime based on project timelines. The environment is safety-focused, with strict adherence to OSHA standards and lockout/tagout procedures, and requires appropriate workwear and personal protective equipment suitable for industrial and construction sites.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Jeffersonville, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
