Inside Sales Representative I
ABOUT THE ROLE The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for pro-active selling to specific customer segments, administration of key sales systems and processes and providing sales support to the Territory Managers in the Market Area. This role will also provide back-up services for the Trucking Dispatch when necessary. The Inside Sales Representative works closely with his/her fellow Territory Manager's, Market Analyst, Plant Managers, Materials Performance (Quality), Dispatch/Order Takers and Credit Collections personnel. Inside Sales Representative coordinates closely with other product line personnel to ensure effective customer and market coordination. We are open to someone working from

Fox but most the of the week they would need to be at
Elburn location .
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING \n - Pro-Active Selling: Inside Sales Representative will have accountability for defined customer segments with detailed budgets and objectives. He/she will sell to existing customers and develop new customers. He/she will understand customers' product and business requirements and translate the current and unmet needs of customers into sales opportunities.
\n - Sales Administration: The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for the following:
\n - Small project quotation,Systematic pricing (Quote set-up, maintain price lists / item pricing), Ticket editing and error resolution prior to invoicingCustomer communications (annual price letters, new customer welcome, holiday greetings, hours of operation)
\n - General inquiries (ie. products, sources, pricing, end-use/application assistance),Procurement of Tax exempt certificates
\n - Territory Manager Support: The Inside Sales Representative will work closely with the Territory Managers by assisting with the following:
\n - Customer inquiries and complaint resolution, Quote entry and transmission to customers (not all quotes, on an exception basis only), Credit; collections coordination/support where applicable
\n - Review of sales transactions for accuracy and error resolution (not all errors, on an exception basis only
\n - Trucking Dispatch Backup: The Inside Sales Representative will provide back-up to the Trucking Dispatch Representative when necessary. The Trucking Dispatch Representative duties consist of Order Taking, Truck Dispatching, Truck Procurement, Order Entry and Scheduling. Scale Operator Back-up : providing back up support to the scale operators when necessary Safety: Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety and health.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Education: Bachelor's Degree
Field of Study Preferred: Business
Required Work Experience: a minimum of 3 years of experience in construction materials or a related industry
Required Computer and Software Skills: Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications/Google equivelant and SAP experience. Saleforce experience Excel pivot tables a plus.
