Overview
Are you a people person with a knack for making others feel at home? Holiday Inn Express Rocky Mount - Sports Center is looking for energetic, reliable, and professional Front Desk Agents to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests—ranging from traveling sports teams to business professionals—you will set the tone for their entire stay.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service: Greet guests with a warm, genuine welcome. Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently using the hotel management system.
Problem Solving: Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints with empathy and a "can-do" attitude to ensure 100% satisfaction.
Communication: Answer multi-line phones, manage reservations, and provide accurate information about hotel amenities and local attractions (especially those near the Sports Center).
Financial Accuracy: Process payments, handle cash, and maintain an organized drawer. Night Audit (3rd shift) will involve basic end-of-day reporting.
Teamwork: Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready and guest needs are met promptly.
What We’re Looking For
Flexibility: We are currently hiring for all three shifts. Please specify your availability (7A–3P, 3P–11P, or 11P–7A) in your application.
Professionalism: A polished appearance and excellent verbal communication skills.
Tech Savvy: Ability to learn hotel software quickly; basic computer proficiency is required.
Reliability: Since we are a 24/7 operation, consistent attendance is vital to our success.
Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Rocky Mount area is a plus!
