Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

Join a dynamic renovation project at the Delta Center as a General Laborer, where you'll support concrete cutting and demolition crews in an active construction environment. This is a contract position with both day and night shifts available, operating six days a week with mandatory overtime.

Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with 24/7 operations. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including a hard hat, safety vest, steel toe boots, and eye and ear protection. This role involves working in a high-visibility public venue.

Responsibilities

• Assist concrete cutting crews with chipping, cleaning, and debris removal.
• Lift, move, and load cut concrete panels and materials for haul off.
• Perform general site labor including sweeping, staging materials, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Act as spotters when working around equipment.
• Work safely around bobcats, excavators, and heavy equipment (no operation unless certified).
• Follow all site-specific safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Essential Skills

• Previous construction or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 6 days a week, either day or night.
• Strong attendance and reliability in outdoor and active construction environments.
• Must adhere to safety policies and jobsite rules.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in concrete, demolition, or construction.
• Familiarity working around heavy equipment.
• OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong performers may be considered for future projects and phases.
• Candidate must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen.

This is a Contract position based out of Salt Lake City, UT.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
