Schneider is seeking a Freight Broker in Green Bay to establish and grow relationships with carriers and source carrier capacity. The Freight Broker will also coach and mentor new freight brokers. Responsibilities include identifying, prospecting for, and generating new carriers; selling load opportunities to new and existing carriers; quoting, negotiating prices, and committing transportation services; managing freight pickup, transit, and drop-off to ensure excellent service; working with sales reps and the network management team to provide short- and long-term solutions for carriers; and helping new freight brokers grow their book of business.
Skills and qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field. One plus years of sales experience preferred. Fluent in English and Spanish is a plus. Strong prospecting skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Able to take initiative. Excellent problem-solving skills.
