Job Description
Our client is looking for a corporate/transactional attorney, the target is a senior associate or young partner who would be part of our plan to develop into a co-leader of our corporate practice.
Experience to prepare, without supervision, the full gamut of corporate documents (formation, acquisition, buy/sell, operating agreements, commercial real estate and business transactions, leases, deeds, annual filings, things of that nature).
Experience with employment documents, non-competes, etc. is a plus.
Needs to have 1st chair experience negotiating deals and transactions, they don't need to be large.
Critical point is the experience and high-level competency to prepare the necessary documents.
May fit for an attorney with a background in residential real estate and leasing (commercial)
Needs the ability to be self-sufficient in terms of work generation, probably in the area of 60-70% of his/her time.
We have had success previously bringing in attorneys from larger firms who are at the senior-associate/counsel level and who are not on partnership track or don't want to be, maybe for business generation or family/lifestyle choices.
Share our goal that a smaller-firm platform would allow the development of their marketing while working with our clients to continue the development of our corporate practice.
