Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Attorney to join our organization and provide strategic legal guidance on key business decisions and transactions. In this role, you will advise on a broad range of corporate legal matters—including contracts, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance—to support the company’s long-term goals and ensure sound legal practices.
The ideal candidate is a business-minded legal professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to navigate complex issues with clarity and precision. This role may also represent the company in legal disputes through negotiation, mediation, or litigation, ensuring our interests are effectively protected.
Essential Functions
· Draft and negotiate a variety of corporate and transactional agreements.
· Handle governance documents and operational agreements.
· Advise on M&A transactions and compliance obligations.
· Negotiation of business deals across industries.
· Collaborate with internal customers to develop strategic legal solutions.
· Write and review commercial contracts.
· Develop and/or review external communications such as press releases or business-related announcements.
· Provide support and direction on litigation matters.

Requirements:Required Qualifications
· Typically requires 5+ years of corporate and transactional law experience.
· Experience working with government contracts.
· Business development experience.
Education
· Requires a J.D. and admittance to the Louisiana bar.
