Job Title: Cabinet Installer

Position Summary:
Provide the highest level of installation standards while maintaining a professional attitude with the utmost respect for the customer's property.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Complete cabinet installation from start to finish with confidence in accordance with Valley Cabinet's standard operating procedures
  • Read and interpret shop drawings and paperwork
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Travel to job sites and install various size cabinetry fixtures, moldings, and hardware using carpentry tools and wood working machines
  • Measure and mark for product installation
  • Trim, cut, fill, seal, and level during installation
  • Perform various hanging, adjusting, and fastening tasks to complete installation work
  • Carrying and raise cabinets and materials, overhead or floor level work.
  • Safely operate various pieces of equipment and tools
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two to three years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and needs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
  • Driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform the essential functions of the position including, but not be limited to the following:
  • Sit, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Moving, bending, standing, kneeling, lifting and carrying material weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Pushing/pulling, grasping/squeezing, pinching, fine motor dexterity.
  • Work for extended periods of time at a workstation on a computer or similar device.
  • Exposure to high noise levels and requires wearing hearing protection in designated areas.
  • Exposure to plant environment to include moving parts, fumes, dust. Safety glasses to be worn at all times.
