Job Description:
1. Experience with handling large c/c++ code bases, with inter dependancies, understand the module structuring and Object and class level interactions.
2. Understand and be able to update/tweak Make/nmake files for library dependencies
3. Must have worked on more than one compiler, especially gcc. ( Preferably Higher versions 11.x and above)
4. Would be good to have some code porting experience from another OS to linux.
C / C++ Migrations on Linux
Migrating C++ Executable files from Solaris / AIX to Linux.
Migrating C++ Codes from one flavor of UNIX to another flavor.
5. Analyzing core dumps and using gdb
6. Finding dependencies from header files and Namespaces
7. Comfortable with handling pointers, data structures
8. Experience in understanding Unix commands and shell scripting
